Design & Size

We provide Cottage Shingle by the roofing square (100 square feet). Each shingle is 16″ high by 51.625″ wide and covers 14″ high x 47.5″ wide once installed. To cover one square requires 22 Cottage panels.

Warranty & Finish

Cottage Shingle carries a 50 year limited warranty which covers manufacturing defects, 120 MPH wind, and hail. This warranty is fully transferable to subsequent homeowners. The finish is a ceramic coated stone granule protected by a clear overglaze. This granule finish is installed over a basecoat and Aluminum-Zinc alloy coated steel.

Purpose & Use

Tight fitting top and side flanges and time-tested fasteners into the vertical leg of the panel make Cottage Shingle a great choice for roofs as low as 3:12. Cottage Shingle is designed for installation on solid deck applications.

You’ll find Cottage Shingle most often on residential applications, but it also functions well for light commercial applications as well.

Cottage is Florida and Miami-Dade Hurricane Zone approved as well as passing both Texas Windstorm and UL90 wind uplift testing.
